Juniors from First Baptist Christian School participated in the 2019 Pro-Life Oratory Contest sponsored by the St. Tammany Right to Life Organization. Speeches were to be 5-7 minutes on one of the following topics; Abortion, Euthanasia, or Fetal Stem Cell Research. A total of 9 students participated in the speech competition. Congratulations to Gabby Adams, Tragedy of Euthanasia, 1st place, $200 cash prize; Summer Crawford, 2nd place, Tragedy of Abortion, $100 cash prize; Jamie Otto, Tragedy of Euthanasia, 3rd place, $50 cash prize. Gabby Adams will proceed o the state competition in May, which is held by the Louisiana Right to Life organization.
