The 5th grade class of First Baptist Christian School recently volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Harahan. Students helped with sorting and packaging boxes for distribution to various churches and other facilities that give food to those who cannot purchase enough for their family.
The students worked hard, and had a little fun, too! The staff at Second Harvest was very appreciative of their help.
Every grade at FBCS participates in at least one community service project each year. Teaching students to give back to the community! Follow us on Facebook to learn more!
